Report this review This car is Auto. I'm a very worried man. 7000 miles on the clock and problems starting to appear. Worryingly delayed acceleration from a standing start. Selected drive, no power and gear didn't engage (auto gearbox). Radio has intermittent fault, sometimes finds a station sometimes not. Power steering lost whilst negotiating slowly in car park (happened once). Volvo has investigated today and found nothing wrong with the car. Watch this space!!! Report this review we bought ours from a relation who loved it..it was v50 2.0d eco gleaming at 75000..we have had problems monthly,,alternator,varios fault codes making it limp,if you cornered fairly quickly left it will switch to limp mode and my mechanic doesn't know why..now the dual mass clutch has gone..we are to worried to drive it far... it done 6000 miles with us and if we do the clutch will have cost 50p per mile in breakdowns..we had a merc before a c220 cdi for 4 years very little trouble,new smart ke ... Report this review The Volvo V50 SE 2.0 was brought in 2005 after only 21,500 miles it needed a new clutch and flywheel which was covered by the warranty. At 57082 miles the electrics failed and electric unit No31254903 was installed at a cost of £452 which I paid as the car was out of warranty. At 62,500 miles the clutch has had to be replaced once again and a new flywheel was also needed. This has cost me just under £1000 at a local garage as I couldn't afford the Volvo garage who wanted nearly & ...
